Nominations now open for the Social Justice Mediation Training

June 8, 2009 -- Nominations are open for the Social Justice Mediation Training that will take place August 21 - 25. Social Justice Mediation is an integral component of OSCR's menu of conflict resolution services available to students who seek assistance resolving a conflict. Trained, volunteer mediators perform a valuable service by co-mediating conflicts as that service is requested. Training provided during the the five-day, forty-hour program requires an agreement to volunteer as a mediator at least once during the 2009-2010 academic year.

Campus response to recent anti-Semitic vandalism incident

Members of the University Community were informed today of a reported incident of anti-Semitic vandalism just off campus. Intolerance has no place at the University of Michigan. Incidents like this disrupt and interrupt our core values, and create harm to both the individual and the greater community. Any member of the community who experiences an incidence of hate or bias should report the incident.
