DIVISION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS (DSA) ADVISORY BOARD

The purpose of the DSA Advisory Board is to provide relevant and informed advice to the Vice President for Student Affairs regarding divisional priorities, goals, objectives, services and effectiveness as well as critical issues for students. The Board will set their annual agenda based on areas of concern that they see on campus. In order to inform their discussion, they will request and be provided information about the current state of the issue at hand. They will also have access to key administrators whose work will inform their discussion.

Organization:

A staff member of the DSA administration as well as the Vice President for Student Affairs and/or her designee, will be present at every meeting. Meeting facilitation will be rotated between members. A student staff member will provide meeting notes and preparatory materials. Regular participation is essential. One-year terms may be renewed.

Following an orientation retreat each fall, the board will meet every two weeks October through April, with additional meetings as needed.
