| Mission: | AE is a student-led initiative that brings people together from across the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor community, blending arts and business in order to enrich our lives as thinkers and doers. We enable students to invest in, develop, and implement their ideas, creating a community of leaders, learners, and teachers through social entrepreneurship, and cultural and community engagement. |
| Programs: | AE has identified six major areas of interest listed below: 1. Music 101 @ Ross: A series of educational, interactive events created and facilitated by music students for MBA students at the Ross School of Business. 2. Artist Speaker Series: A series of artists invited to speak about their cultural and entrepreneurial experiences related to their success in public and private sectors. 3. Arts Public and Private Sectors Forum: An annual trip for music and business school students to learn about business and the arts. 4. Beyond Talent Workshops: AE will offer several workshops designed give music students the skills they need to be successful entrepreneurs. 5. Project Based Initiatives: Projects designed by students that fit the mission and vision of AE. 6. Enharmonia: A ongoing service project with the SoMTD in which members assist in connecting the University with local and underprivileged students. |
