| Mission: | We are dedicated to providing sustainable, culturally-relevant aid in Puno, Peru, an impoverished region of Southern Peru. Since our founding we have shifted focus beyond healthcare into community-based projects. We are looking for dedicated students to help with on-campus operations, to plan public health, education, and anthropological programs, and to volunteer during our annual summer trip to Peru. We will be engaging in the development of sustainable projects in Southern Peru in the Puno region. Our projects aim to be culturally-relevant, specifically targeted towards groups that we have visited and developed relationships with in the past, require little capital input, utilize local resources in a non-damaging manners, and be trainable to those in the community such that they can train others. |
