Michigan Climbing Club Constitution
Preamble
The Michigan Climbing Club has been established to act as a vehicle uniting students, faculty, and staff of the University of Michigan with a common interest in rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, outdoor education, wilderness first-aid, natural history, group development, leadership, and guide skills. The email list has become the most valuable asset for contacting each other about carpooling on club trips around the country or simply to the local gym, Planet Rock. No experience is necessary and you do not need to own your own equipment. Corporate and University funding goes towards subsidizing trip costs, purchase group gear, and sponsor special events to come.
